We are glad to announce that Giacomo Garziano received the prize Inspireli Awards as the brightest new talent of the up and coming generation. A professional jury of 55 skilled architects from 39 countries selected Giacomo in a closed competition among more than one thousand other contestants from 99 countries.
The ceremony was attended by Czech minister of Culture Daniel Herman and a member of parliament Karel Schwarzenberg, but also by ambassadors of various countries in Czech Republic. Many prestigious architects also attended and among them were the chairman of the jury Otto Dvořák, Jürgen H. Mayer from Germany, Claudien Mulimilwam from Congo, Gan Pei from China, Martin Dusasko from Australia, Michal Postránecký from USA, Francois Valentiny Luxemburg, Petr Kolář from Czech Republic, Juraj Hermann from Slovakia, Budi Pradono from Indonesia, Giancarlo Alhadeff from Italy, Alexandrin Buraga from Moldavia, Tamara Panchenko from Ukraine and Jerzy Chrochulski from UIA. The ceremony took place on the first anniversary of the death of Bořek Šípek, who was with Václav Havel the creator of the whole idea of the international competition for young architects and the first chairman of the jury of the INSPIRELI AWARDS 2015.
